About Bikutsi:

Part dance, part lecture and all exuberant possibility, Bikutsi 3000 is devised by artist, musician, activist and designer Blick Bassy. This urban-afro-futuristic dance show brings together music, movement, video and stunning costumes for a feminist tale in which dance is an act of resistance and women are the actors of the emancipation of society.

Take a journey back to the past and into the future with five vibrant dance scenes from Cameroon, Namibia, Togo, Tanzania, Rwanda and Burundi, all driven by a hugely inventive made-to-make-you-move original music score.
